The Atari Eiffel version with joystick ports is coming soon

The version of the PCB Atari Eiffel with 2 joystick ports is in production. The components have also been ordered. If all tests are successful, then this version will join the shop Klyde's Korner End of March or early April.

If you do not require joystick support, you can also order the initial version in a kit You Climb.

Joystick ports allow you to connect joysticks only with a DB9 joystick port, but do not support the Atari ST mouse. Mouse emulation can only be done by the PS/2 port integrated into the Eiffel adapter.

I've noticed that with the Eiffel adapter The mouse axes sometimes invert. (The top and bottom invert with the left and right). The Atari ST must then be switched off for the Eiffel adapter to reset and return to normal operation. A simple reset of the Atari is not sufficient.

Consequently, future versions of the PCB will include a RESET button used to reset the Atari Eiffel adapter without having to reboot the Atari ST.
