A new firmware for the’Atari Eiffel pico USB stamped 1.1.2 brings improvements to USB joystick support.
A dead zone for USB joysticks has been added. This prevents small, unintentional movements from being registered, which improves the accuracy and comfort of using the joystick.

Installation
To update the firmware on the RP2040:
- Temporarily unplug the RP2040’s USB-C cable on the Atari Eiffel Pico USB
- Connect the RP2040 to your PC using a USB-C cable whilst holding down the button BOOTSEL,
- Release the button when the RP2040 appears as a new drive on your computer,
- Drag and drop the UF2 file corresponding to your language in this player,
- The RP2040 automatically installs the firmware and restarts,
- Reconnect the USB-C cable from the Atari Eiffel Pico USB.
